In the beginning of this new ministry, we have experienced the story of Loaves & Fishes over and over again. The time we thought we would have NO food for a pop-up pantry. Fifteen minutes later we received a call from another food pantry that they had an abundance to share. Then, a local farmer brought boxes of fresh produce to share. Suddenly, baskets were full.
Over and over it happens.
Somehow. Someone brings something.
Someone else shares a bit. An unexpected gift shows up.
What seemed like not enough becomes abundance upon abundance, and there’s enough for all.

Loaves & Fishes is a shared meal.
This is not a feeding "program". This is a way of being church together. This is us coming to the table where Jesus invites everyone, gives us a bit of bread, and proclaims that
this is God's abundant gift given for you.
We each bring a bit and prepare a meal to be shared.
While it simmers, we gather around tables.
We talk. We listen. We pray. We break bread.
We commune. We bless. We receive. We share.

Not one speck of this is fancy or polished. We simply show up.
We bring our bits, knowing God is present among us.
We build relationships as we chop and prep and stir.
Together we experience the gift of holy communion, then we're sent into the world to share God's abundance.
This is Loaves & Fishes. This is Love multiplied.

For now, Loaves & Fishes will be a monthly gathering launching in March! With COVID, we currently have limited seating.
